Why are you courses so much cheaper than other company’s courses?
We are uniquely positioned to offer you the most competitive pricing while maintaining the standard we are known for. We have also invested heavily in back-end technology which does a lot of work for us that other companies have to pay for somebody to do, such as admin work. We also have a good relationship with the training venues we use, giving us exclusive discounts.
What kind of support will I receive?
You will receive as much or as little support as you need. We would like to think that we offer the best student support in the industry.
Once enrolled, you will be assigned a dedicated support tutor who you can contact between 10 am – 6:30 pm. We offer support in a number of ways including:
- Telephone appointments
- Face-to-face
- Text
- Skype
How do I know if your home study course is right for me?
This is a difficult question to answer because it is down to the individual. One thing we do know is that our support is second to none, however if you are somebody who needs a little structure and motivation then our full-time course may be best suited to you.
What will I learn on the practical training days?
You learn how to instruct and execute a variety of different exercises including free-weight, body weight, resistance machines, cardiovascular, all in line with the latest research.
Once you progress to level 3 you will be learning the more advanced exercises like PNF stretching, fitness testing and training adaptions such as pyramiding, interval training and more.
Will I struggle if English is not my first language?
Over the years we have delivered our courses to students from all over the world. As the course is delivered in the English language, it is advised to have a good understanding of it. We do however have tutors who are very experienced in delivering courses to students who’s fist language is not English.

Can I get funding for the course?
It would depend on the individual circumstance. Please get in touch with our careers team so that they can check this for you.
In what country countries are the gym instructor/personal training course recognised?
They are both internationally recognised qualifications. As a result they are accepted by all major health club chains and independent fitness clubs across the UK, the national register of exercise professionals, across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the UAE. You can contact the European Register of Exercise Professionals (EREPs) for a full list of participating countries.
Will I receive extra help if I am finding it difficult?
Absolutely! There are different ways we can provide you with additional support. The first thing you should do is get in touch with your tutor who will help accordingly.
Am I too old for the course?
This is a common question we get, and the answer is absolutely not! Age can be a valuable asset because the many people will prefer being trained by somebody who they perceive as having experience and knowledge that comes with age! Some people may also prefer the idea of somebody their age training them rather than somebody younger.
How long does your Personal Trainer course take?
Our flexible course takes about 4 months to complete on average, however it can be done in a much smaller or bigger time frame which is dependant on you. The more time you spend on it, the quicker it can be done.
Our full time course takes 10 weeks in total to complete the Diploma (level 2 and 3). You will only need to attend the final 6 weeks if you are already level 2 qualified.
When can I start?
As there is an element of theory work that you’ll need to complete from home, you can get started at any time!
